I’m Jeff, the owner and only technician behind That Tech Jeff. I’ve provided personal remote PC and Mac help to customers across the United States since 2007, after spending seven years helping people with their computers locally.
From my home base in Las Vegas, I help with slow computers, email problems, printers, viruses and pop-ups, new computer setup, file transfers, backups, and other frustrating technology problems. You work directly with me—not a call center or rotating team of technicians.

My Story
I started helping people with computer problems locally before moving my service online in 2007. Remote support allowed me to help customers across the country without asking them to unplug their computers, drive to a store, or leave their equipment with someone they had never met.
That Tech Jeff is still exactly what the name suggests: just one guy helping people across America. When you contact me, you work directly with me from the first conversation through the completed repair.
I built the business around two simple principles:
- Provide honest, understandable help. I explain computer problems in plain language and don’t recommend services or products people don’t need.
- Charge a fair price for results. There is no hourly meter, membership, contract, or sales quota. You don’t pay me to try—you pay when the problem is fixed.

I wish I had gone to him from the start rather than wasting many hours over several days with Microsoft Support. I also wouldn’t have lost the things that I have and haven’t been able to get back. The problems I had, and there were many, were taken care of in about an hour. He answered questions and concerns I had. There was no attempt to upsell me into expensive programs. He calls first to get some background and then lets you go about your life while he is fixing your issue! And you can’t beat his price either. He is very kind, knowledgeable and helpful.
