Until yesterday, Jeff had done annual clean-up for me many times, and paid attention to whatever I might have said was working slowly. However, he has now saved my sanity! A screen popped up purporting to be MS and indicating that mine had been compromised. I spoke at length with the "security specialist" who was giving me instructions and, of course, enabling his access to my desktop! Finally, I had sense enough to hang up but was petrified that I had allowed him to go far enough that I was about to be financially drained. I was able to secure an appointment in two hours by booking online, but Jeff actually called me 30" later so that I wouldn't have to wait. He repeatedly praised me for getting off the call "just in time." I'm 70 years old, so the thought of losing my life savings or someone infiltrating all my accounts was quite frightening; fortunately I have Jeff to read the text I sent stating "I think I was hacked" and calmly go through restoration steps with me.
