Welcome to That Tech Jeff. I believe in honest, fair, and transparent service. Please read the following refund policy carefully before purchasing remote computer assistance services.


Remote Service Policy

That Tech Jeff provides remote computer assistance and technical support services for Windows PCs, Macs, printers, email setup, software troubleshooting, and related technical issues.

Because services are provided remotely and often begin immediately after connection to your device, all sales are considered service-based transactions rather than physical product purchases.


No Fix, No Charge Policy

If I determine that:

  • your issue cannot be improved remotely, or
  • the problem cannot reasonably be resolved through remote assistance,

there will be no charge for the service session.

My goal is always to provide honest assistance and meaningful improvement whenever possible.


Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:

  • A payment was made accidentally
  • Duplicate charges occurred
  • A technical issue prevented the remote session from taking place
  • The service could not reasonably be performed

Approved refunds are generally issued back to the original payment method.


Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are generally not provided for:

  • completed service sessions
  • issues caused by third-party software or hardware failures outside my control
  • internet connectivity problems on the customer side
  • problems that return after successful repair due to new software, updates, malware, hardware failure, or user actions
  • customer decisions not to continue troubleshooting after work has begun

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • maintaining backups of important files and data
  • ensuring stable internet connectivity during remote sessions
  • providing accurate information about their technical issues

While every effort is made to avoid data loss, That Tech Jeff is not responsible for loss of data, software corruption, or hardware failure.


Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact That Tech Jeff directly regarding any billing concerns before filing chargebacks or payment disputes.

Most issues can be resolved quickly and fairly through direct communication.
